Best Celebrity Bob Hairstyle of Katie Holmes in 2008

Katie Holmes has a new hair cut style. The big trend-setter of 2007 is back and this is her very latest 2008 hairstyle which was photographed just yesterday.

It looks as if she let her 2007 bob grow, and now she has a cute chin-length bob.

The new hairdo also looks thinner, shinier, and sleeker than her last hairstyle.

It "hugs" her face, staying very close to the contour of her face shape; whereas her previous look was slightly flippy.

Late last year, she had a similar look with very long fringe, which she styled to fall straight down.

That style was a bit extreme and unflattering. Too harsh! So she angled her bangs a little, made it softer, and this looks much better.

Look how sharp the cut is from a different angle:

What do you think of Katie's sweet new haircut? Is it hot or not?

Katie Holmes (29) is a modern girl who wears the latest hairstyles (bobs); the most expensive glamour gowns (Giorgio Armani); and the hottest high heels (Christian Louboutin). Thanks in no small part to her new role as Mrs. Tom Cruise.

If you can't afford the high fashion, you may still have her hairstyle. This one is popular like her last one.

Hayden Panettiere in Cute Easy Bun Hairdo with Large Barrette

Pics of Hayden Panettiere looking radiant in sweet teen chignon updo at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles.

Hayden was wearing a cute easy bun which she set with a big barrette.

She wore a nice navy blue floral print evening dress and strappy gold formal heels on the red carpet.

Hayden completed her polished young evening look with a gold clutch that matches her gold shoes.

Kristin Cavallari in New Blonde Haircut for 2007 with Lowlights

Move over Jessica Simpson, there's a new blonde bombshell in town.

Sexy elegance in a hair design is perfected by the young star with this, one of the hottest modern piecey hairstyles.

Lots of lowlights make an already piecey hairdo look even more dimensional, which some women might actually find makes it look a little messy.

Kristin Cavallari made the fine choice for Hollywood Life Magazine's 9th Annual Young Hollywood Awards.

Ashley Tisdale with Hot Long Straight Razor-Finished Blonde Hair

This is such a great color and attractively simple teen hair style. Besides the good length, her hair color is perfectly uniform from top to bottom. Her bangs may be a touch too long, though, getting in her eyes.

Jennifer Aniston in Glamorous Hair Down with Subtle Highlighting

Jennifer Aniston has done it again. This is another wonderful hair style, so simple and so glamorous.

The way her hair was expertly colored and perfectly layered makes it look very sexy. This cut received good ratings from visitors who voted; many viewed it as a 5-star haircut.

Sexy Beauty Hair 2009

June 15th Monday

Add Volume
"Sexy hair should have natural texture and volume," says L.A. hairstylist Giannandrea, who has created sultry looks on stars like Eva Mendes and Drew Barrymore. He suggests spraying hair evenly with volumizer (such as Oscar Blandi No Gravity Volumizing Spray, $18) and combing through before drying. However, since movement is key to sexy hair, he warns against additional products because "heavy styling aids can cause the look to go limp."

Lots of Layers
There's a reason wind machines are a photo-shoot staple: Hair that's tousled is more provocative than stiff, straight planks. So fake the breezy effects of a blower with swinging layers. If you have medium to thick hair, ask your stylist for choppy layers all the way around your head (like Jennifer Aniston's). If you have fine strands, all it takes is a few chin-grazing pieces in fron

Knotty is Nice
The most appealing looks aren't perfect. Gisele Bundchen's mane man Harry Josh tells us how to re-create her signature rumpled style: "Flip your hair upside down and give it a good shake. Then flip it back over, scrunch the crown, and finger-comb the ends."

Veer Off Center
"A low side part works on every face shape," says Josh. Use the end of a rattail comb to draw a line from the hairline at the outer corner of one eyebrow diagonally back to the center of the crown. It creates a sultry swoop in front while maintaining balance on both sides.

Be a Brunette Bombshell
A rich cocoa hue "has a dramatic quality that you just don't get from lighter shades," says N.Y.C. colorist Jason Backe, who likes Clairol Perfect 10 at-home color kit in Medium Auburn ($14; drugstore.com). For Beyonce's golden brown, try L'Oreal Paris Feria in Sparkling Amber

Indulge Fantasies
No, we're not pushing Princess Leia's braids and bikini! But next time you reach for a ponytail holder, think sexy secretary. Twist hair into a low chignon, then secure it with a pencil, chopstick or, our fave multitasker, Clarins's smoldering black liner pencil with a tapered, tuckable end

Spice Things Up
Our pick: Armani's new frangipani, licorice and patchouli blend. It's a sexy floral oriental fragrance. Spritz the nape of your neck, and with every flirty toss your hair will release the come-hither scent.

Family weekend at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila

My hubby, two children, and I spent the weekend at Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila courtesy of our cement supplier. We were given a King Room with free breakfast for two adults. It was our first time to spend the night at the Hyatt and I must admit I was taken aback by how big the room was.

Although the room was really spacious, one king-sized bed was really too cramped for two adults and two kids aged 4 and 8. I ended up with a stiff neck the next morning, but the kids slept well. The air-conditioning was excellent -- cool and quiet, just the way we like it. The hotel was on Skycable so there were ample TV channels to choose from. There's a DVD player too, which is rather unusual.

Although wired high-speed internet access was available in the King Room, the ludicrous charge of P25/minute was enough to deter me from even attempting to use it. The room is fully equipped with a safe, mini-bar, and an electric kettle with complimentary sachets of coffee, creamer, and tea. Little things like toothbrushes w/ toothpaste, slippers, shaving kits, cotton balls and buds, etc. were also provided.

The highlight of our stay at the Hyatt was definitely swimming at Hyatt's impressive pool area. It had a kiddie pool, an adult pool, and a hot bubbly jacuzzi! The pool is located on the 8th floor. It opens at 7am and closes by 8pm. We were there by 7:30am and it was just the four of us for more than an hour. It was great having the pool all to ourselves. The pool area is fully equipped with bathrooms, lounge chairs, towels, and a bar.

Breakfast at Market Café was lovely. There was dimsum, congee, and noodles at the Chinese area, an assortment of milks and yogurts in the chillers, freshly brewed coffee, fruit juices, rice, Pinoy fare like tocino and daing na bangus, freshly cooked pancakes and omelet, a wide variety of breads... the food stations just seemed to go on and on. Alas I was too busy taking care of my two little ones to take photos of the wonderful buffet spread. Kids aged 5 and below eat for free while kids aged 6-12 pay only half. Since hubby and I had provisions for free breakfast, we only paid for our son who's 8 years old. The total bill for breakfast came out to P550+, which is really great since all four of us were stuffed. We totally skipped lunch since we had such a heavy breakfast from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila's staff are all very courteous and knowledgeable at whatever it is they are tasked to do. If you're worried that the kids will get exposed to gambling and casinos, you need not be since we never once needed to pass by or through one during our whole stay there. There are also convenience stores located all around the hotel vicinity so if you need anything, they're just a stone's throw away.

Room rates start at about P4,000+.
